During her training, Dr. C realized that there is a huge disconnect between doctors and patients when health insurance is the middle man. Not the patient nor the doctor know the cost of the care as both are often kept out of the financial loop. What ends up happening is doctors are overbooked as they become hourly employees and patients are packed into short visits. Both sides end up unhappy.

That’s why Dr. C decided to leave the format of traditional medical care and pursue something revolutionary with MD On Delivery that would keep both patients and MDs happy. This format allows her to spend more time with her patients and not worry about meeting her RVUs (fancy medical term for quota). It also allows patients to know the finances ahead of time, rather than as a surprise bill. No one likes to talk about money, but getting a surprise bill is far worse.

Yes!  A superbill can be provided for you to follow up with your insurance company for reimbursement.  It is important to note that this CANNOT be done for those with Medicare.

Yes!  Weekends and after-hours are not just for urgent cases.  They can also be for regular appointments!  The price, however, is the same as that for urgent visits as noted in the Services section.

Currently we service Texas, California, New York and Hawaii but are rapidly expanding to others. If you are seeking a certain specialist in your state we can search for one for you.

If your state is not listed please let us know so we can prioritize it

Lab blood tests can be done with health insurance or with cash/debit/credit card payment.  The fee for the actual blood draw, however, cannot use insurance.

Certain small procedures like laceration repairs or stitches/staple removals can be done

An MD or Physician will see you and be responsible for your care. We have a team based approach in which you have a team taking care of you.  This includes your doctor, your nurse, or tech.  Your healthcare is important to us, so a team of us work together to attend to you.  Karina Canadas, MD is a board certified otolaryngologist, head and neck surgeon.

If needed, follow-ups or referrals may be made.

All of our employees are carefully hand-picked and are usually the best in their area.  They are fully trained and screened, and we conduct full background checks.

If your symptom is not listed here, please let us know, and we can help you find the right specialist in your state to help you via telemedicine (see Doctor Consultation Appointments).

A nurse will come to your home.  They will do take your vital signs and do a physical assessment.  They will then telemedicine with your doctor who will take a history, review the nurse’s findings, review your case and make an assessment and plan.  The nurse will then be able to execute the orders the doctor has made.  All in the comfort of your home!

Home visits without an MD or Nurse, would be the same as that service in the office.  The difference is that it would be at your home and a delivery fee would apply (depending on the distance to your home from our office).
